Fund Raising
hr
In September 2003 and 2004, most of us and our children completed a 30-mile bike ride to raise funds for the Sickle Society (UK).

When we set out to take on the ride most of us thought the real challenge would be to get enough sponsorship to meet our target of £10,000.  Meeting our target turned out to be the easy part.

The real challenge was making the 30 mile journey.  A few cracks were revealed.  We realised that some of our colleagues had designer muscles and were unfit but thanks to the ambulance service who followed us safely home. All that said it was a very enjoyable day and we are proud of all who took part.  We look forward to getting more fund raisers to join in our next fund raising exercise.

On Sunday 28th August 2005, we organised a Fun Run\Walk at Richmond Park in South West London.  This was to raise funds for the Christian Rural Aid Network (CRAN).  We were aiming to raise at least £10,000. Check out the fantastic work done by CRAN at www.cran.com.
