Aklowa 2003, 2005
Noble Friends in association with Aklowa, the proprietors of The African Traditional Heritage Village, hosted two festivals of African Music, Dance and Arts in August 2003 and 2005.
These events brought to life the setting of a typical African village with mud huts and village market. Other attractions included an African textiles market, Art and craft, African cuisine and beverages. There were a variety of performances from several artists including Moses Music, Toyai Arts, Ujamaa Arts Project. Highlights of these events were the Pouring of Libation, Procession by the Chief, Queen Mother and the Kinsmen as well as Drumming and Dancing by African Cultural Troupes and Children's workshops.
